These Amazon Prime Day Air Fryer Deals Will Make Your Thanksgiving Easier

Perhaps you were unswayed by the Amazon Prime Day air fryer deals back in July. I get it; during the summer months, anything that can be grilled, I grill. But Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and if you’re hosting, I guarantee that an air fryer will make your life easier. I have a toaster oven-style air fryer (the Breville Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro, to be exact), and I’ve roasted chickens and baked cakes and bread in that beast. Even if you opt for a smaller, basket-style air fryer, it’ll still take care of your brussels sprouts and crispy potatoes, freeing up your oven for the big bird. Today and tomorrow during the Amazon Prime Early Access sale, you’ll find excellent deals on some of the best air fryers, including the ones used by BA editors both at home and in the test kitchen. These are the lowest prices you’re likely to see until Black Friday—which, need I remind you, is the day after the biggest cooking holiday of the year.

This is essentially the same model that I use at home save for a few bells and whistles, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. My regular oven is gas and, especially during the colder months, it takes forever to preheat and cycles on every few seconds in order to maintain temperature. The electric Breville Smart Oven, on the other, hand preheats in a minute or two, and I feel less environmental angst about running it for over an hour while baking a Bundt cake (yes, it fits a Bundt pan, easily). It will also, of course, air fry, but you’ll use it for so much more. At 17.5″ x 21.5″, it takes up a not insignificant amount of counter real estate, so if you’re working with a small kitchen, consider one of the smaller, basket-style fryers below.

Deputy food editor Hana Asbrink uses her Philips Premium Airfryer XXL to help frozen foods like french fries and egg rolls achieve maximum crispy status, but she’ll also bust it out for proteins like fish, pork belly, and even a whole chicken (when we say XXL, we mean XXL). “The clear win for me is the lack of preheat time,” says Asbrink, which makes it more efficient both from an energy and time perspective. With a 7-quart capacity, the Philips is not tiny; its footprint is 15.5″ x 15.5″. But it’s an excellent choice if you have the counter or cabinet space, and at over 30% off, this Amazon Prime Day air fryer deal is one of the best.

Deal: Philips Premium Airfryer XXL

The Philips XXL is top-of-the-line and spacious, but if you’re looking for something a little more petite at less than half the price, consider the Cosori Pro II. It has a 5.8-quart capacity compared to the Philips’ 7 and a smaller footprint (11.78″ x 13.87″) to match. Associate food editor Rachel Gurjar used her Cosori to test these sesame-coconut chicken tenders and, I mean, just look at them. The Cosori is our best budget air fryer pick, and it’s even more of a bargain this Amazon Prime Day.

Staff writer Tiffany Hopkins finds her Ninja Max XL to be easier to clean than the Cosori, which is comparably priced and sized. She also likes the speed with which her chicken wings and veggies cook using the “Max Crisp” function, a sort of air frying Turbo Mode. With a 5.5-quart capacity, this is the smallest of the basket-style fryers Bon Appétit recommends, but it’ll still hold up to three pounds of french fries.
